*Mothers Sessions | Aletha Knopp

In this special Small Group for moms, Aletha will share further insights and discuss how to follow through with our daughters. Aletha writes, "It can be very challenging to be a mom! Less than ten years ago, Elizabeth and David were in their mid-teens. My husband and I were in despair. We had lost Elizabeth’s heart and we didn’t have a clue how or why. David was aimless. He was such a sweet, lazy, boy! Getting him to do schoolwork or chores was like sweeping leaves in the wind. We were so frustrated! If we could have had a glimpse into the future, to see how these hard times were God’s Refining Fire, forging our young people into godly adults – we would have responded differently. I have been learning many lessons which I’m eager to share with you.

"It was a conference just like this one that started to crack the wall behind which Elizabeth was hiding.  It’s part of the reason she, Jocelyn and David are so passionate for girls in this precarious stage of life. If your relationship with  your daughter is excellent, come. You will be closer than ever. If you are overwhelmed, discouraged, or struggling in any way, Beneath The Surface will be a place to be still and enjoy the Presence of the Lord.  Many mothers say the Mother’s Small Group was life-changing for them. Please come; be refreshed; be encouraged to persevere."
